Frequently asked questions
Why do recommended sizes change?+
Networks change crops and feed layouts every year. The sizes here are the commonly recommended ones for 2026; check the official help pages when precision matters, for example for ads.
Can I use one image everywhere?+
A 1080 × 1350 (4:5) image is the safest single size: it is native on Instagram, LinkedIn and Threads and crops acceptably to 1:1 elsewhere. Make a 16:9 version for X and link previews.
What file size is allowed?+
Keep images under 1 MB for Bluesky and under 5 MB elsewhere, and use JPEG or PNG; WebP is accepted by some networks but not all.
